Sustainability

Sustainability and ethics aren’t just details at HOMEBDY. They are the foundation. From the materials we choose to the makers we partner with, every step is rooted in respect: for you, for the planet, and for the hands behind each piece. We believe that luxury should never come at the expense of people or the earth, and that true self-care includes caring for the world we rest in.
Our Fabric
We use 22 momme, 100% mulberry silk — an all-natural fiber with no synthetics, fillers, or blends. This is the most recommended and scientifically backed grade of silk for maintaining skin hydration, reducing hair breakage, and supporting restorative sleep. It feels luxuriously smooth because it is, naturally.
Where It’s Made
HOMEBDY pillowcases are ethically cut and sewn in New York City by skilled sewists we know and trust. From there, they travel to Long Island, NY where they are embroidered one by one with our limited edition designs.
Made in the USA, always. Keeping manufacturing local reduces carbon impact, ensures fair working conditions, and allows us to visit our partners regularly.
Our Packaging
Each pillowcase arrives in a 100% organic cotton drawstring bag that is fully reusable for travel, storage, or everyday life.
All shipping materials are recycled, reusable, and recyclable, because the experience should feel thoughtful, not wasteful.
Better for your skin. Better for your hair. Better for the planet.
